The domaine la Magnanerie is situated in the southern part of the Ardèche close to all the famous gorges and the town of Vallon Pont d'Arc : it is typical of the southern Ardeche with its almonds and lavender fields.
Our olive groves cover 20 hectares and have about 5 000 trees. Surrounding the property we have 10 hectares dedicated to wood (oak, white oak and pine).
Formerly used forbreeding silkworms, hence the name "magnanerie” (silkworm), then vines, the domain now concentrates on olives. It is good terrain for olive trees : the shallow limestone soil, the altitude (350 m), the fullness of the days/nights helps the development of aromas and flavours and hinders the olive fly.
This project came about because of my love of olive trees. Rising to this challenge has been a mixture of joy and sorrow, desire and determination and has shaped my characterand stimulated my desire to do a job well and to respect nature. It's in this spirit that I create my oils which are certainly different, some even describe them as "wild”.

Early harvest as usual, with perfect fruits and technical maturity. A lot of polyphenol and a beautiful chlorophyl color.
